Refund Policy

Last reviewed: May 20, 2026

We want the decision to subscribe to be low-risk. This policy explains how refunds work — in plain terms, with no survey to escape.

The 14-day trial

Every account starts with a 14-day free trial that requires no credit card. Nothing is charged during the trial, so there is nothing to refund if you decide TaxClover isn't for you — simply don't subscribe.

Monthly plan

You can cancel the $19/month plan at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation stops the next charge; the current month remains active until it ends. We do not pro-rate partial months.

Annual plan

If you are on the $190/year plan, you may request a pro-rata refund within 30 days of the charge. Contact us and we will refund the unused portion of the year. After 30 days, the annual plan is non-refundable but remains active until its term ends.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we retry it a few times over two weeks and email you. During that window the account moves to a read-only state rather than being deleted, so your records are safe while you update your card.

How to request a refund

Email our support address from the email on your account. Refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
